World Premiere: Happily Ever Ally

When I first read Happily Ever Ally, I fell in love with her: Her boundless enthusiasm, her quixotic quest for love — from men and her mom in equal measure — and her unshakable spirit. I wanted to get to know Ally more and help her as she searches for creative success; just as we are behind the camera. New York City can be a brutal place, but the payoff is worth it. Ally’s obstacles are universal, fighting to stay financially solvent, fighting aging and ageism, fighting to stand out above the crowd. It wasn’t a stretch for Alyse and I to bring her to life on screen for the pilot. We cannot wait to see how her journey evolves over the next episodes.
