I wouldn’t usually post such low res screen-grabs, but I’m really proud of this film. To interview franchisees about The UPS Store, we sent them iPhone 11s and used a company called Open Reel that patches into the phone and records hi-res footage. The spanner in the works was that the UPS stores aren’t allowed to have wifi, so I spent two days talking to folk that I could barely see. But we are so proud of the result! An emotional journey of store owners that pioneered a business no-one (USPS or the government) wanted to exist in the early 80s, to store owners today who have had their lives changed. I had a 90% success rate getting tears. One guy started crying before I had asked my first question. I have really enjoyed filming over covid and this is my favorite film so far.
