Emily does Stand-Up.

Inspired by the amazing stand-up comedians I’ve directed this year @bobthedragqueen @matteolane @dopequeenpheebs, I decided to go to NYC and spend two weeks doing open mics, writing, and watching comedy. I did a writing course beforehand and had a set that I wanted to work on, before you ask. 🎤 Lots of folk have asked if it was intimidating. Being on stage in front of a room full (or empty) of strangers (comics) was a huge thrill, obviously. Because I love attention. Re-writing all my jokes and new ones, every morning after the feedback and hangover, was extremely tough.
